Job description

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join the Superconductive Recruiting Team. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this role will help establish sourcing strategy, identify and recommend process improvements, and partner with hiring team members to scale Superconductive as quickly as possible to meet our expanding headcount needs across all functions including Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams.

This role will partner with the Senior Technical Recruiting Lead and be essential to the company as we grow in size and organizational complexity to support our Mission while we simultaneously advance the core Great Expectations open-source product and bring the SaaS offering to the market.

We are looking for for someone who can:

  • Own and manage the entire recruitment process, from preparing and posting job descriptions to sourcing candidates to managing the interview process to presenting offers and closing candidates

  • Play an active role in annual headcount planning; owner of quarterly approvals and revisions to the plan. Responsible for daily upkeep of Recruiting Tracker.

  • Assesses candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and overall compatibility with role requirements

  • Develop strong relationships with each of the hiring managers, becoming a trusted advisor to them as they strategize how best to build their teams

  • Partner with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyze hiring needs, determine best recruiting methods, and create/deploy client-specific and/or role-specific recruiting strategies

  • Deliver a compelling, thoughtful and memorable candidate experience to each person we interview. Articulate the value proposition to candidates in a way that engages and motivates them to join Superconductive

  • Develop creative recruiting/sourcing strategies and proactively build a robust pipeline of technical candidates for critical and repeat roles

  • Manage the advertisement of open roles and leverage relevant channels to attract inbound candidate interest. Explore innovative ways to build our employer brand, including by hosting meetups and on-site events

  • Coordinate applications and responses, providing a high-quality experience through timely feedback and follow-through to both the candidates and to your internal stakeholders to ensure a high-quality experience

  • Actively maintain hiring related databases (tracker, ATS, etc.) which will be uses to prepare analysis, reports, and presentations that help inform key team and company decisions

  • Provide regular, data-driven updates to manager and company leadership on recruiting progress

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives

  • Provide/manage tools to help employees engage in sourcing candidates

Job requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably at a Computer Software company, where you’ve seen effective, scalable recruiting processes in action
  • Experience working at rapidly growing tech startups or fast paced environment

  • Experience sourcing for a broad range of functions and roles, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Developer Relations, etc.

  • Experience sourcing, engaging and closing mid to high level talent in competitive markets

  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of traditional as well as innovative recruiting strategies such as leveraging social media to attract passive candidates

  • Organized with strong attention to detail, while also being innovative and flexible as the needs of the business evolve

  • Team-player with a ‘no task too small’ attitude.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented; strong commitment to continuous improvement and customer service

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Startup experience is highly desirable

  • Mixture of Agency and Corporate Recruiting experience preferred
